Tam Steele Daly is a prominent, and highly credited, photographer in the Hunter Region of NSW. He stands proud among his peers carving his way through the Newcastle Commercial World adding company after company to his title belt.
Since arriving in Australia almost 4 years ago, Tam has embraced the Australian lifestyle. Tam (which is Scottish for Tom!) is, among many things, a member of the Newcastle Community Arts Centre board, a position that Tam is very proud hold.
It is well known that Newcastle is inundated with photographers, however it takes that little extra something to stand that head higher – a personal bar that Tam is forever raising. So what is he up to these days?
In 2009 he formed a photography school, namely – STUDIO 22. The basis for its creation was the need for Short, Sharp and fast-learning, dictated by you, the next generation in photographers. Almost 2 years on these same courses are now available in Toronto and soon to be Belmont, NSW.
He continues to feed his passion for abstract and landscape photography with regular jaunts with his buddy Les Reynolds, of Scope Photography.
